☆ – “Dance with the Dangers” – ☆ Shri Ashish Mulay

Come here oh my dear

not too close but enough near

don’t smile for I am bit mature

your vicious plans I can hear

Don’t give me hand

but let me hold yours

let me feel the knife

in these soft fingers

fragrance precedes your presence

so do the anklets, your move

let me breath it in and hear it out

before your dance starts out

dance and pass, my dear

make the way for, new fear

dance and you all pass

where finally love’s fingers

find my heart…

Disloyal Tears…

लिखना था कि तेरे  बगैर

भी खुश हैं हम यहाँ,

पर कमबख्त आँसू हैं कि

कलम से पहले ही चल दिए …!

here even without you…

But these damn tears started

flowing before the pen…!

Now don’t ask the limit of pain…

After  all,  a  pain  is  a  pain,

What  more  or  what  less…!

☆ – “Desire & Need” – ☆ Shri Ashish Mulay

Be not confused between them

for they look similar

though one is beautiful

and other is not so beautiful.

Your fate is sealed

within these two hands

one that can be controlled

and other that can not be

If desire is the right hand

need is certainly the left

left will do it right

but right should hold what’s left

Need is a bold hunting

desire is a shy dreaming

not far are the heavens

if can hunt while dreaming.

Need is pure and pious

but desire can become bias

wise is the one, who knows

what’s legal versus what’s righteous.

☆ – “You” – ☆ Shri Ashish Mulay

Let me sit in your heart for a while

and see through your eyes to last mile

Let me borrow your life for a while

and feel your love while it’s alive

It is your joy,

that bursts through my words

It is your anger,

that cuts through my margins

It is your love,

that draws my lines straight

It is your ecstasy,

that lingers through the pages

and It is your pain,

that flows through my pen

Without your thoughts,

there is no philosophy

Without your act,

there is no story

Without your voice,

there is no silence

and without your silence,

there is no statement!

For without meaning, words are Lifeless

so do this poem, without your essence..

☆ – “Wolf…!” – ☆ Shri Ashish Mulay

Wolf!   O my wolf!

Starry sky is your roof.

Why is this agony?

Is your fur your only company.

When the distant moon shines,

What happens to you?

Does it disturb your solitude?

or the solitude disturbs you.

You the born survivor

Do you lose the will too?

What the silent moon tells you

Do you hear that too?

Though the winds

are just passerby

Does it carry the scent

of someone near you?

Wolf! O mighty wolf

caged in picturesque

moment of night

do you feel the pain too?
