☆ – “Do not give me…” – ☆ Shri Ashish Mulay

Do not give me Wealth

Before Enlightening me..

Do not give me Power

Before giving Worthy Enemy..

Do not Give me Love

Before making me Thirsty..

Do not Give me Fame

Before Realising the Chaos..

Do not Give me Life

Before Showing me Meaning..

For Every Hanging Fruit

Is not Apple After Tasting it..

? – Who’s Lethal…???

There exists an immense

fear  of  the  snakes

in  the  ever mortally

scared human beings…

As soon as they’re sighted,

they’re  brutally crushed

to  the  death  without

any  rhyme  or  reason…

But  the  very  moment,

snake senses the presence

of  humans,  it  just  flees

away to  save  its  life…

Obviously bu quzzically

the snakes are far more

mortally  scared  of the

lethally savage mankind..!

English Version by – Captain Pravin Raghuvanshi

? ~ Creativity…??

How does your pen move

so much every day…?

How  d’you  manage

to write so creatively..?

Unknown  to  self,  I’m

perennially in quest of myself,

I  just  keep  searching   for

the self-address  every  day…

As I look into  the mirror,

I  find  myriad  reflections

Of  myself  that  make  me

write every day, effortlessly..!

Not a finer lady than her

Never make her ugly

Never try to take her

For she can be given only

Raise her children with love

☆ – “Story of an Eagle…” – ☆ Shri Ashish Mulay

In the dark flies the butterfly

I run to catch the uncatchable

pleasure, that is unreachable.

But I reached very close

and saw a beautiful rose.

A rose i wished to be mine

but it gave me a beautiful sign.

That some roses are delicate

and you aren’t that fortunate.

But it couldn’t resist the fragrance

and I woke up from my ignorance.

In the light flies away the eagle..

☆ – “You…” – ☆ Shri Ashish Mulay

Let me sit in your heart for a while

and see through your eyes to last mile

Let me borrow your life for a while

and feel your love while it’s alive

It is your joy,

that bursts through my words

It is your anger,

that cuts through my margins

It is your love,

that draws my lines straight

It is your ecstasy,

that lingers through the pages

and It is your pain,

that flows through my pen

Without your thoughts,

there is no philosophy

Without your act,

there is no story

Without your voice,

there is no silence

and without your silence,

there is no statement!

For without meaning, words are Lifeless

so do this poem, without your essence..

? ~ Greed…??

Been writing silence

far and wide…

Scripting it for

a long time…

Reading everything,

Contemplating everything,

Weaving own meaning…!

I am selfishly greedy,

I want to see

every meaning

coming to fruition,

I want to see

my poetry becoming

polymathically

multi-dimensional..!
