Hemant Bawankar

☆ Words …  on my heart’s paper boat ☆

The mist

soft wind

a piece of sunshine

between the clouds

miles away

on foreign land

slips on

old city

old buildings

old forts, palaces

on the surface of the river

and on the lake

every afternoon

far away

up to where

goes my vision.

And then,

suddenly

words seem to flow,

on my heart’s paper boat

on

black road like river

far

on the turn

downhill

and

finally lost

by the lake

by the river

and

old city

old city lanes.

And then

suddenly shatters

earthy scent

of the homeland

in the entire

environment.

Words start

squirting

floating

and soaking

my heart’s paper boat

with words

to conscience

eyes

and

far on mountain slopes

a black river like roadsides

roofs of houses

and

house

where lives

a piece of my heart

under the shadow of

a piece of sun rays.

? – Unwritten ‘Un’ Dictionary… ??

Listen-

It doesn’t take much

time to go from vivacious

chirping to  stark silence…

But,  centuries  go  by,

Or even it takes many ages

to bring festive liveliness

from sombre lifelessness,

Just imagine how many

words turn topsy-tervy

just by changing the prefix,

Rewriting their meaning and

creating an ‘un’written dictionary!

?~ Supreme Lord’s Cynosure…  ~??

Time  shall  never  submit  itself  to you.

You  have  to  surrender  to  its  diktat…

Time is its own master, and not your slave

Has its own kingdom, not your habitat..!

Every  sunset and  sunrise remind us of

beginningless and endless stream of time,

Night-day, summer-winter, roll on endlessly.

but life term decays every day, every chime

While being pushed forward in time-flood,

      man is surprisingly unaware of his fate;

He tries to hold the time disregarding his

      lifespan  and  predestined expiry date..!

Blinded by his ignorance, riches and fortunes

He indulges in fleeting fun and pleasure…

While life-breath flies out of the cage of body

      Without  being Supreme Lord’s cynosure..!

Those, measuring the

vibrations and oscillations,

expansion and contraction

of the sea waves,

got perplexed as they

hit a roadblock

when they probed

deep into my mind…

The rise and fall of the

wave crests in my mind,

proved to be way beyond their

grasp and measurement..!

? The Grey Lights# 30 ?

☆ – “Curls” – ☆ Shri Ashish Mulay

Are you aware?

aware of your power

or you yourself lost in it

for it is a maze for heart

Are you aware?

aware of that tide

rising in that untidiness

for it lands on bedrocks of mind

Are you aware?

aware of that net of darkness

shining so bright in sun

for no fish can escape it

Are you aware?

aware of your curls

interwoven like a life

for they kill straight through

?Inevitable Destiny… ?

The mystical bird of destiny,

sitting far away in the desolate

gully of the inevitable separation…

Knoweth not what she looks at

in the fathomless nothingness

with the hollow eyes…

The infidelity of the dry leaves

pricks the stark silence,

actuating the excruciating

ever unbearable pain…!!

? – Relationship??

If the destination is not found,

      the path remains meaningless.

Traces of longings remain in  heart,

if  the hearts don’t get to meet…

It is not necessary that every

      relationship will have a name,

Some relationships remain

      nameless throughout the life..!

Hold my hand in your cushy hand

Clasp it with all your passion

Let’s walk by the side of river of

      unending love and endearment…!

We’d rewrite our Lovestory beyond

Though they say love is blind, but

English Version by – Captain Pravin Raghuvanshi

? – Blackhole… ??

You will again draw.

the line between us,

You will again go away

like countless previous occasions,

When you return, I always

meet & greet you again as if

nothing has ever happened…

But, have you ever thought,

Every time you leave, it creates

a vacuum in my consciousness,

Now, all these voids have combined

to form a petrifying blackhole

Do you know. that the blackhole

swallows the entire universe..?

Now. Listen!

I am gaspingly asphyxiated

How do I recover from being

exhausted again and again?

You only tell me how many

more universes can I create..?
