Captain Pravin Raghuvanshi, NM
(Captain Pravin Raghuvanshi—an ex Naval Officer, possesses a multifaceted personality. Presently, he is serving as Senior Advisor in prestigious Supercomputer organisation C-DAC, Pune. An alumnus of IIM Ahmedabad is involved in various Artificial Intelligence and High-Performance Computing projects of national and international repute. He has got a long experience in the field of ‘Natural Language Processing’, especially, in the domain of Machine Translation. He has taken the mantle of translating the timeless beauties of Indian literature upon himself so that it reaches across the globe. He has also undertaken translation work for Shri Narendra Modi, the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, which was highly appreciated by him. He is also a member of ‘Bombay Film Writer Association’.)

☆ तल्खियाँ.. ☆
हाशिये पर हैं अब वो सारे रिश्ते
जिन पर कभी हमको गुमान था
बपौती है उनकी मेरी ज़िंदगी
उन्हें इस बात का इत्मीनान था..
हैं इतनी तल्खियॉं अब दरम्यान
कि मानो पुश्तैनी अदावत हो
है आजकल मंजर कुछ ऐसा
मानो खुद की खुद से बगावत हो..
उनकी हैं रवायतें कुछ ऐसी कि
उन्हें तकरार से भी गुरेज़ नही
कीमत चाहे कुछ भी चुकानी पड़े
उन्हें इस बात से कतई परहेज़ नही…
अपनी हुकूमत अपने अख़्तियार के
वो अब बेइन्तिहा नशे में चूर हैं
जब जो चाहें मन मर्जी करें
ना जाने क्यूँ इस कदर मगरूर हैं ..
फाक्ता हो गये मेरे सारे ख्वाब
हकीकत से वाबस्ता हुई हूँ मैं
ज़िंदगी के बेइंतहा ज़ुल्मों सितम
रुसवाइयों से रूबरू हुई हूँ मैं ..

☆ Bitter Grudges… ☆
All the grand relationships
That we were proud of
are marginalized now…
Although, he considered my life
as his personalized sole property…
There is mountain of lasting
bitterness now, as if ancestral
family feud has been waged
My state, these days, is as if I’m
a mutinous rebellion to my ownself …
He has some customary habits
Of not even bothering to squabble
No matter what price we have to pay
He’d never be concerned at all…
Conceitedly, ever insolent,
He runs his self-rulings openly,
Always imposing own authority,
beastly free own-will, arbitrarily…
All my rosy dreams are
summarily shattered now
As I’m introduced to life’s newer
harsh realities, suffused with
rampant oppressions..!
