☆ ~ Inevitable Fate…~? ☆

It’s just a thought which occurred while untangling the maze, called: Life. I found that the “Life” is a quest, an exploration of the transient nature of the human existence. Mortality reigns supreme. The flame of the time, doesn’t spare anyone. Even the most powerful authoritarian personality; be it a king or a pauper has to face the same fate. Even the all powerful “devil” having unimaginable power, glory and vanity is reduced to “a handful of ashes”.

The destiny’s message is very clear: that our evanscent life, will someday be gone, and like ashes will get merged into the dust; and, our grandeur and might will be of no use. It’s a humbling reminder of the inevitability of death and the importance of cherishing every moment of the life, living in harmony with the utmost humility.

☆ ~ Inevitable Fate…~? ☆

A lifetime of grandeur with power & clout abound,

A devil who once thought himself above the rest,

Now just a handful of ashes, lies in mundane dust,

His pompous glory decimated, and legacy unblest

*

His wealth, his status, his power, all lost to time,

His existence, a brief momentary shining light,

His memory, a faint whisper, consigned to flame

Extinguished now, lost in the oblivious dark night

*

A humbling truth, awaiting us all, when death knocks

All the grandeur, all the might, gets reduced to dust,

That our lives, like ashes, will, someday, be gone

A poignant reminder, of fragile life’s inevitable trust
