☆ Remembrances… ☆
☆
As usual, my hands were
empty when I left your town,
If only I had the life left,
I’d have given that too…
*
Every nook and corner of your
city recognizes me now,
Since I’ve spent my entire
life frequenting this place…
*
This time, I really felt intrigued
while seeing off my friends…
Unexpectedly, they didn’t inflict
any wounds, as always…
*
So many travellers must have
passed through this alley…
They sure could’ve removed
the thorns from the path…
*
Agreed I was a burning stone
in the simmering hot desert…
But you, being a river, at least,
could’ve quenched my thirst..!
