☆ – “You…” – ☆ Shri Ashish Mulay

Let me sit in your heart for a while

and see through your eyes to last mile

Let me borrow your life for a while

and feel your love while it’s alive

It is your joy,

that bursts through my words

It is your anger,

that cuts through my margins

It is your love,

that draws my lines straight

It is your ecstasy,

that lingers through the pages

and It is your pain,

that flows through my pen

Without your thoughts,

there is no philosophy

Without your act,

there is no story

Without your voice,

there is no silence

and without your silence,

there is no statement!

For without meaning, words are Lifeless

so do this poem, without your essence..

? ~ Greed…??

Been writing silence

far and wide…

Scripting it for

a long time…

Reading everything,

Contemplating everything,

Weaving own meaning…!

I am selfishly greedy,

I want to see

every meaning

coming to fruition,

I want to see

my poetry becoming

polymathically

multi-dimensional..!

? The Grey Lights# 16 ?

☆ – “To whom…” – ☆ Shri Ashish Mulay

To whom shall I bow down to

a story, a man or to an animal

a picture, the stars or a carnival

for they are all fall-able

To whom shall I bow down to

the gold, a stone or to myself

the diamond, the light or the darkness

for they are all truly meaningless

To the existence I shall bow down to

the birth, the life and the death

an energy, the synergy and the destruction

for they never go, out of the construction..

? ~ God Incarnate… ??

Wave dances with the wind,

Basks in the warmth of Sun,

Frisking with the playful rain,

Imagining, it  is  playing  on

the bosom of the vast sea…

It does not know that the wave

Itself  is  the  all  powerful sea,

Until it realizes the real truth,

it keeps on tossing up and down…

When it knows its real self,

it lies calm and collected with

peace and tranquility with itself

far from the uncontrolled rage…

The man has been sent in this

world to realize the eternal truth

That he is not the man alone,

but the God incarnate Himsel..!

Shri Ashish Mulay

? The Grey Lights# 15 ?

☆ – “Let them come…” – ☆ Shri Ashish Mulay

When you sit on the brink

brink of a trouble

it’s better to sit firm

and say ‘let them come’

They are going to come

come in your way anyway

it’s better to go calm

and say ‘let them come’

If no god can save you

how a demon can kill you

it’s better to be a man

and say ‘let them come’

What can they take from you

they can only give you

it’s better to give them back

and say ‘let them come’

If you believe,

Then they are destiny

if not, they are an accident

it’s better to let them pass

and say ‘let them come’

If they are certain death

then remember, all death is certain

it’s better to live now

and say “let them come…”

? ~Karma is Dharma…??

O’ Dear Wanderer..!

Gathering of crowd

Dispersing of crowd,

Their pricking criticism

mounting frustrations,

Doesn’t it bother  you ..?

Treading of paths is

my Karma, –the duty…

Endless traversing is

my Dharma, –the faith…

I am detached from praise,

censure and felicitations…

I’m perennially  embarked

on my obsessed  journey…

As traveler I’m ever fixated

with my righteous path,

That’s why every moment is resolutely followed,

as the adage goes-

“Karmanyevadhikaraste…,”

That’s ‘Keep doing your

Karma  without  any

expectation of the results…!

Shri Ashish Mulay

? The Grey Lights# 14 ?

☆ – “Passion…” – ☆ Shri Ashish Mulay

I am not young enough

young enough to feel

how the passion kills

and what passion kills

to me passion is not

something that bothers

passion is but what

your existence harbours

passion is not what you show

but what others see in you

like a lamp that doesn’t burn

for the sake of giving light to you

it burns for the sake of itself

only to find another self

in darkness it takes the flight

till it reaches another light

no matter how vast the darkness is

and how alone the lamp is

it burns with all it has

the wick, the body and the oil

be spent like oil

be burnt like wick

be passionate like heat

be that lamp

be that lamp…
