उदार हिंदू और उदार मुसलमान चाहिए।

नफ़रत भरे दिलों में खिलता कँटीला खार,

मुझे प्यार भरे गुलों का गुलिस्तान चाहिए।

उतार कर फेंको धर्मों का अहंकारी नक़ाब,

मुझे सभ्य समानता का संविधान चाहिए।

जो हो चुका वो बदलने वाला नहीं अब,
