Let’s make the heavens here

it’s not sitting somewhere there

neither is the hell everywhere

it’s all in the head, don’t search anywhere

 

imagine the world which runs on logic

that is where you will find real magic

beliefs and blind faiths make this world tragic

ask the skeletons sitting in old world’s attic

 

god has given birds, the wings to fly

so the brains, to search and not believe by

science is the true saviour, we should rely

and logic is the rope, we should hang on by

 

when you wonder why someone,

is born to someone and other to no-one

then remember,

if you make everyone someone

then nobody will be born to no-one

 

it is in our hands to make heavens here

let’s not waste the time looking there

remember you are not going anywhere

for you shall be born again, only here…

? ~ Eternal Reticence ~ ??

In the deepest corner of my heart,

resides a longing wish to meet you…

To ask you some quizzing questions;

To hear some of your unanswered replies,

There is much that is unaddressed hither to,

Some concerning you,

Some pertaining me…

But then, it’s agreeable

only if you break your reticence

Your indifferent insensitive eyes are

not acceptable to me

Which creates an eternal impregnable barrier

Leaving the things to go wayward

Communications go awry

And, thus begins the blame game

Where you remain incommunicado

like a perennial stone wall

And my wish remains unfulfilled as ever…!

Is it a change,

for it’s what, we all whine

shorter it is, in its act

but longer it is, in its effect

 

failure has taught me, success is momentary

and success has shown me, failure is illusionary

as with time, failure becomes success

for experience is nothing but a time’s essence

 

ask the lover, what he loves?

is it the time with her, that goes

or persona of a time, that she shows

or the moment in time, when she glows

 

a smile you see, takes a second in time

but for eternity, it becomes your wine

remembering is like, living the time

and time is for making, memories that shine…

With exuding aura, in every Avatar you’ve been sailing,

Piercing the fathomless seas, with celestial fury trailing!

With tireless perseverance, you’ve achieved countless goals,

Though always laden with multi-faceted daunting roles!!

 

Your aircrafts thunder like typhoons, be it day or night,

Dominate the limitless skies, with all your aerial might!

O Vikrant! Endless is the saga of your audacious glories,

Smiling is not a big deal

Hiding sorrow is not a big stuff

O’ Life It’s not meeting you

but liking yhou is the big thing…!

? Anonymous Litterateur of Social Media # 120 (सोशल मीडिया के गुमनाम साहित्यकार # 120) ?

Captain Pravin Raghuvanshi —an ex Naval Officer, possesses a multifaceted personality. He served as a Senior Advisor in prestigious Supercomputer organisation C-DAC, Pune. He was involved in various Artificial Intelligence and High-Performance Computing projects of national and international repute. He has got a long experience in the field of ‘Natural Language Processing’, especially, in the domain of Machine Translation. He has taken the mantle of translating the timeless beauties of Indian literature upon himself so that it reaches across the globe. He has also undertaken translation work for Shri Narendra Modi, the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, which was highly appreciated by him. He is also a member of ‘Bombay Film Writer Association’.

Captain Raghuvanshi is also a littérateur par excellence. He is a prolific writer, poet and ‘Shayar’ himself and participates in literature fests and ‘Mushayaras’. He keeps participating in various language & literature fests, symposiums and workshops etc. Recently, he played an active role in the ‘International Hindi Conference’ at New Delhi.  He presided over the “Session Focused on Language and Translation” and also presented a research paper.  The conference was organized by Delhi University in collaboration with New York University and Columbia University.

In his naval career, he was qualified to command all types of warships. He is also an aviator and a Sea Diver; and recipient of various awards including ‘Nao Sena Medal’ by the President of India, Prime Minister Award and C-in-C Commendation.

Captain Pravin Raghuvanshi is also an IIM Ahmedabad alumnus. His latest quest involves social media, which is filled with rich anonymous literature of nameless writers, shared on different platforms, like,  WhatsApp / Facebook / Twitter / Your quotes / Instagram etc. in Hindi and Urdu, he has taken the mantle of translating them as a mission for the enjoyment of the global readers. वो हमारे भी मुरीद हैं…!

Those who are close to you,

are my ardent admirers, too…!

मुद्दतों के बाद जब उसने

निगाह-ए-लुत्फ जो डाली,

दिल तो बहुत खुश हो गया

मगर बेहिसाब आँसू छलक पड़े…!

After ages when he cast

his zestful sight…

My heart got overjoyed

but the tears welled up…!

उस शख़्स से फ़क़त  इतना

सा ताल्लुक है मेरा…

वो परेशान होता है तो

नींद मुझे नहीं आती है…!

Just so much of relation

I have with that person

If he ever gets upset

I just can’t even sleep…

कुछ भी नहीं है,

जिसने भी दिल से किया

बस सिर्फ दिया ही है…!
