☆ – “The day you left ☆ Shri Ashish Mulay

☆

When you left my body

My soul found me

and the day you left

had a night brighter

than a thousand suns see

 *

With the pain so pointed

it drew the crisp lines

on my blank heart

and it painted like a picture

with absolute no lines

 *

I understood the kiss

for the first time

when you stopped kissing me

and I understood the touch; the day

when the night touched me

 *

But I am grateful to you

grateful for making things clearer

not only between us

but for making it clear

between me and every other girl

☆ ~ Let’s walk together… ~? ☆

The road is harsh and unforgiving,

if possible, come along for guidance

Journey too is arduous, atleast walk

along for some more distance…

*

With your blissful company there’ll

always be an idyllic fragrance,

I know it’s too demanding, still walk

with me for some more distance…

*

Yes, I’m drunk but then you too are

not in your senses and substance,

It’ll be a great merriment if we walk

together for some more distance…

*

Even if, meeting of one night evantuates,

it will be a blessing in abundance

Who knows about tomorrow, so let’s

walk together for some more distance

*

It’s too late at night, but the awake

lamps still have their dominance,

Dawn is yet far away, so let’s walk

together for some more distance…

*

Somehow I’ve to reach the destination

joy will multiply with your acceptance

So won’t it be better if together, we continue

walking for some more distance…

☆ – “Paradise ☆ Shri Ashish Mulay

☆

Countless have perished

in search of a paradise

be not wasted

oh my dear wise!

There is no paradise

in deep so skies

it dwells not in space

but hides in the time

Child sees his mother

and mother her child

in their eyes

rainbows of heaven shine

Grown ups inhale

the exhale of father

blows in that moment

heavenly breeze of time

Only in his eyes,

ordinary girl is a nymph

what is it in that moment

if nothing but a paradise

Held by the moment

Doors of the Paradise

Time is tamed by Love

knows the wise!

💐 Poem of Capt. Pravin Raghuvanshi is to be recited in the BYRON 200 Poetry event at Nottingham, U K 💐

☆ Bicentennary Celebration of Lord Byron – BYRON 200 Poetry Event by Kavyrang ☆

It is with great pride and pleasure, We would like to inform that poem (Lavanya poorn Ratri Abhisarika) of Capt. Pravin Raghuvanshi has been chosen to be recited in the BYRON 200 Poetry Event, which is being organised by Kavya Rang with NAAC as a part of Multilingual Poetry Event to commemorate the Bicentennary Celebrations of Lord Byron in Nottingham, England. This poem is based on Lord Byron’s legendary poem She Walks in Beauty.

Byron 200 is a varied programme of exhibitions, events and activities that celebrate the sensational life and legacy of Lord Byron through the year, focussed at Newstead Abbey, his inspirational home.

Date: Saturday 27th July 2024, 1pm-4pm

Venue: Newstead Abbey, Nottingham, U K

Original English Poem By Lord Byron

☆ She Walks in Beauty

She walks in beauty, like the night

Of cloudless climes and starry skies;

And all that’s best of dark and bright

Meet in her aspect and her eyes;

Thus mellowed to that tender light

Which heaven to gaudy day denies.

One shade the more, one ray the less,

Had half impaired the nameless grace

Which waves in every raven tress,

Or softly lightens o’er her face;

Where thoughts serenely sweet express,

How pure, how dear their dwelling-place.

And on that cheek, and o’er that brow,

So soft, so calm, yet eloquent,

The smiles that win, the tints that glow,

But tell of days in goodness spent,

A mind at peace with all below,

A heart whose love is innocent!

 – Lord Byron

☆ – “Smaller simpler things we ignore ☆ Ms. Aparna Paranjape

(A poem from Ms. Aparna Paranjape’s book Divine meet.)

Thinking that biggest we have to explore

We want bigger more and more

Don’t like to enjoy on the sea shore

Diving deep inside is the wish to explore

Want to surf want to dive deep

To get the ultimate will to keep

Ignoring bud want to see flower full

Wish to enjoy flower as tool

Sand pebbles sparkle on the shore

Can give pleasure but  we feel bore!

Exploring heights we get wounds and hurts

But total focus on the height is joy full burst..

When reach height, watch behind

Come to know we were blind

As pebbles can be joy  forever

Moment to capture is lesson ever

What’s in hand is wasted for the thirst of the best

Sweet, simple, easy can be full if rest..

This is the real art to be caught for the bliss

For the moment to moment each thing to kiss

Joy is thing total interior

What we felt was inferior

Within us lies superior

Follow our heart

Is our best part

Nothing is inferior

As all is superior

All is superior

☆ ~ Rooted Memories…  ~? ☆

Sometime in the past, my life was grounded,

moored in the time and space, inexplicably

With  the dreams and memories unsolvable

like a conundrum, so much irreconcilably…

*

However  hard,  I  tried  to  unshackle it,

it got more and more entangled only

Tried  intensifying  the  efforts  but  in  vain

The love  refused  to sojourn  lonely…

*

My will steadily forces me to move forward

but the heart  still resides in the yore

Enmeshed in time, gathered new experiences

as the zeitgeist  gave me offers,  galore

*

In  the  twisted  spiral  cloisters  of  time,

echoes of lost laughters, resonate endlessly

Silent  sighs, buried in the anguished secrets,

stepped forward, but got dragged back only…

  *

Testament is there, even when you’re absent,

love thrives, which was never there before

So what, if in the past, life was somberly stuck,

but  now lovelorn heart flourishes, galore..!

☆ – Wait… ☆ Ms. Aparna Paranjape

Bride is ready for her groom

Waiting eagerly to bloom…

*

Beautiful innocent  purest real

Green and gold flowers and pearl .

*

Diamonds platinum silver and what not

Groom offers what he has got!!!

*

The age is fine to flourish as whole

Playing both their heartful role…

*

Wait finishes till  comes he

Both unite not he and me….

*

The best days of life pass

Enjoy the taste of life such as…

*

Days pass, years gone through

Time doesn’t wait to reach through…

*

Clothes turn to white from  green

Wrinkles on face eyes mean…

*

Wait is not finished there now too

Oh God do visit me it’s You….

*

Life is full of time and tide

We never leave our role as bride….

*

Wait wait wait  wait is fun

It’s so nice to meet long run…

*

He responds as per our desire

As a lover of age demands pure….

All is well and good at last

only is curiosity till breath last

Till breath last….
