(We are extremely thankful to Captain Pravin Raghuvanshi Ji for sharing his literary and artworks with e-abhivyakti.  An alumnus of IIM Ahmedabad, Capt. Pravin has served the country at national as well international level in various fronts. Presently, working as Senior Advisor, C-DAC in Artificial Intelligence and HPC Group; and involved in various national-level projects.

Today, we present a poetry depicting the ultimate truth of life, written by Captain Pravin Raghuwanshi ji in loving memory of his mother. Yes, it is true the ultimate destination of all human beings is Panchtatva that connotes the five elements i.e. Ether (Akash), Wind (Vayu), Fire (Agni), Water (Jal) and Earth (Prithvi).  We are emotionally with Captain Pravin Raghuwanshi ji at this moment of grief by praying almighty that may his mother’s  soul rest in peace.

In midst of crowd of

Some royal paths

Some golden lanes,

Few roads of luxurious opulence

Many avenues of extravagance,’

Numerous gleaming pathways of possessions,

There remains a solitary

narrow dusty track

As a sentinel of aspirations of soil

Keeping alive the potential of

grass to grow, again and again

I’ve always listened to my heart

Each time, at every crossroad

I chose the dusty trail…

 

O’ laughers of my lonely journey!

O’ choosers of luxurious paths!

One day, you’ll have to return to me

Like bird flying high returning

to earth, to perch in its nest…

No matter, however high you fly,

No matter, however much you amass…

 

No matter, however much you

indulge in limitless luxuries,

Mingling of your perishable body in the mother earth,

And, the grass abode being your final shelter

Is the ultimate truth…!

☆ Realization…. ☆

Time, like wind,

Often uproots you and throws you

Akin to a muddied yellow leaf

On untrodden paths

Making you feel defenceless!

 

You realize

The futility of your existence,

You fathom out slowly

That you are a zilch,

You don’t even know

Where your future is going to take you!

 

In this state of utter helplessness,

One fine day,

The realization dawns

That though the trail

May be of a muddied yellow leaf,

But you are not actually one;

You have the power

To steer your life’s car

With full force and conviction

And take it to a desired destination

With efforts and sincerity!

 

You insert the key,

You blow the horn,

And then march ahead

Like an enlightened Buddha!

(हम कैप्टन प्रवीण रघुवंशी जी द्वारा ई-अभिव्यक्ति के साथ उनकी साहित्यिक और कला कृतियों को साझा करने के लिए उनके बेहद आभारी हैं। आईआईएम अहमदाबाद के पूर्व छात्र कैप्टन प्रवीण जी ने विभिन्न मोर्चों पर अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर एवं राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर देश की सेवा की है। वर्तमान में सी-डैक के आर्टिफिशियल इंटेलिजेंस और एचपीसी ग्रुप में वरिष्ठ सलाहकार के रूप में कार्यरत हैं साथ ही विभिन्न राष्ट्र स्तरीय परियोजनाओं में शामिल हैं।

आज सोशल मीडिया गुमनाम साहित्यकारों के अतिसुन्दर साहित्य से भरा हुआ है। प्रतिदिन हमें अपने व्हाट्सप्प / फेसबुक / ट्विटर / यूअर कोट्स / इंस्टाग्राम आदि पर हमारे मित्र न जाने कितने गुमनाम साहित्यकारों के साहित्य की विभिन्न विधाओं की ख़ूबसूरत रचनाएँ साझा करते हैं। कई  रचनाओं के साथ मूल साहित्यकार का नाम होता है और अक्सर अधिकतर रचनाओं के साथ में उनके मूल साहित्यकार का नाम ही नहीं होता। कुछ साहित्यकार ऐसी रचनाओं को अपने नाम से प्रकाशित करते हैं जो कि उन साहित्यकारों के श्रम एवं कार्य के साथ अन्याय है। हम ऐसे साहित्यकारों  के श्रम एवं कार्य का सम्मान करते हैं और उनके कार्य को उनका नाम देना चाहते हैं।

सी-डैक के आर्टिफिशियल इंटेलिजेंस और एचपीसी ग्रुप में वरिष्ठ सलाहकार तथा हिंदी, संस्कृत, उर्दू एवं अंग्रेजी भाषाओँ में प्रवीण  कैप्टन  प्रवीण रघुवंशी जी ने  ऐसे अनाम साहित्यकारों की  असंख्य रचनाओं  का कठिन परिश्रम कर अंग्रेजी भावानुवाद  किया है। यह एक विशद शोध कार्य है  जिसमें उन्होंने अपनी पूरी ऊर्जा लगा दी है। 

इन्हें हम अपने पाठकों से साझा करने का प्रयास कर रहे हैं । उन्होंने पाठकों एवं उन अनाम साहित्यकारों से अनुरोध किया है कि कृपया सामने आएं और ऐसे अनाम रचनाकारों की रचनाओं को उनका अपना नाम दें। 

कैप्टन  प्रवीण रघुवंशी जी ने भगीरथ परिश्रम किया है और इसके लिए उन्हें साधुवाद। वे इस अनुष्ठान का श्रेय  वे अपने फौजी मित्रों को दे रहे हैं।  जहाँ नौसेना मैडल से सम्मानित कैप्टन प्रवीण रघुवंशी सूत्रधार हैं, वहीं कर्नल हर्ष वर्धन शर्मा, कर्नल अखिल साह, कर्नल दिलीप शर्मा और कर्नल जयंत खड़लीकर के योगदान से यह अनुष्ठान अंकुरित व पल्लवित हो रहा है। ये सभी हमारे देश के तीनों सेनाध्यक्षों के कोर्स मेट हैं। जो ना सिर्फ देश के प्रति समर्पित हैं अपितु स्वयं में उच्च कोटि के लेखक व कवि भी हैं। वे स्वान्तः सुखाय लेखन तो करते ही हैं और साथ में रचनायें भी साझा करते हैं।

Emotions may get revealed…!!

बादलों का गुनाह नहीं कि 

वो  बेमौसम  बरस  गए!! 

दिल  हलका  करने का

 It’s not the crime of clouds

If they rained unseasonably!

After all everyone is entitled 

To lighten burdened sorrows

☆ Providence…. ☆

You are just a straw

Floating with the gush of wind,

Going wherever destiny takes you.

 

Your finiteness

In the vastness of infiniteness

Is just an illusion

Making you falsely fantasise your worth.

 

Your knowledge, wisdom or health

May only give you inner strength

To dree the inevitable,

Your faith, commitment and character

May make you prudent

To face the inexorable;

But your path still remains undefined,

You still remain weightless

In the entirety of the universe.

 

The flow of life,

Depends not upon the straw,

But the wind that carries it.

☆ एक शमां हरदम जलती है  ☆

जब कोई डर सताए,

जब कोई दिल दुखाये,

जब बहाव थम सा जाए,

जब पाँव के नीचे शूल ही शूल चुभ रहे हों,

जब लगे कि ख्वाब पूरी तरह टूट गए हों,

और कोई रास्ता नज़र नहीं आ रहा हो,

जब हर साथी साथ छोड़ दे-

तब याद रखना

कि तुम्हारी खुद की रूह के भीतर भी

एक शमां है

जो हरदम जलती रहती है!

 

आँखें बंद कर

दो क्षण को बैठ जाना

और ध्यान देना कुछ लम्हों के लिए

उस शमां पर…

 

उसे देखना सुलगते हुए,

सुनना उसकी बातें

जो तुमको आगे बढ़ने की

प्रेरणा दे रही होंगी,

महसूस करना

उसकी उष्णता

जो तुममें नई स्फूर्ति भर रही होगी…

 

सुनो,

अकेलापन एक मिथ्या है-

तुम अकेले कभी नहीं होते!

अपनी रूह की सुनोगे

तो मुस्कुराते हुए हरदम बढ़ते ही रहोगे!

When something scares you,

When someone hurts you,

When the flow is stopped,

When thorns after thorn

prick your feet persistently,

When you feel the dreams

have shattered completely,

When all doors are closed

There seems to be noway out,

When everyone deserts you…

 

Then you must remember-

That even within your own soul

There’s always  a flame

Which keeps on burning incessantly!

 

Close your eyes

Just sit for a while

And, concentrate on that

flame for few moments

Keep gazing it smoldering,

Listen to its words

Which you shall find

Inspiring you

To get up and rise

and  move forward…

You shall feel

Its warmth energizing you…

 

Listen,

Loneliness is utter falsehood

You are never alone!

If you listen to your conscience

You’ll always march forward with tenacity, smilingly!

(We proudly welcome Colonel Jayant Khadilkar  on e-abhivyakti.  Colonel Jayant Khadilkar was commissioned in June 1980 into the Corps of Signals. He is an Alumnus of National Defence Academy, Pune and Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru. Academically brilliant, he was awarded Plaque of Honour in Signals Young Officers Course and Army Chief’s Gold Medal in the Signals Degree Engineering Course. ☆ The Pandemic Prism ☆

Ever in  the news since late 2019 November

Novel Corona is what we call this character

Spreads through humans to cover its ground

It is invisible but is sure to be lurking around

 

Incomparable suffering it has caused

Travel  and business too, it has paused

With no  definite cure  worth the name

Humans, the sure victims of this game

 

Such is the ferocity of  wretched damnation

That one wrong move may wipe out a nation

So let’s cooperate with authorities to function,

assist in their efforts,  causing no confusion

 

Though we had always turned a blind eye

To one’s  own  greed  and others’  misery

And it required a Corona to shake us all

To pull us out of our self-imposed reverie

 

It’s time to learn to respect each other,

empathise and grant dignity of  labour

For, the next Corona version may require

Any one  of us to be the  front line soldier

 

Nature may have a different shade

of this Corona episode and disaster

For it has caged the greedy humans

And allowed other things to prosper

 

Now  air is ever fresh, waters are clean

Birds’re    chirping,  countryside is green

Even the humankind, although confined

Is  networking  with  gusto so far unseen

 

Forced out of the mindless rush

We  are  back  as being  humans

Instead of  those  rats in the race

without any  feelings or emotions

(We are extremely thankful to Captain Pravin Raghuvanshi Ji for sharing his literary and artworks with e-abhivyakti.  An alumnus of IIM Ahmedabad, Capt. Pravin has served the country at national as well international level in various fronts. Presently, working as Senior Advisor, C-DAC in Artificial Intelligence and HPC Group; and involved in various national-level projects.

We present an English Version of Shri Sanjay Bhardwaj’s Hindi Poetry  “विभाजन” published today as ☆ संजय दृष्टि ☆ विभाजन ☆  We extend our heartiest thanks to the learned author  Captain Pravin Raghuvanshi Ji (who is very well conversant with Hindi, Sanskrit,  English and Urdu languages) for this beautiful translation.)

☆  The Division ☆

Flow gives rise

to the waves,

Celebrates its creation,

Rejoices over

its rising expansion…

Time-wheel rotates,

But  the expanded

waves divide themselves…

 

With the tired body

and broken heart,

The Flow finds itself

unable to see

the division of its

very own waves…!

 

O’ Mankind!

The relationship,

in this mortal world,

between the parents

and their offsprings,

is something

similar to this only…!

☆ Metamorphosis ☆

When the hard-hearted Westerlies blow

In the icy cold veins,

The blood vessels get choked,

The stony heart stops beating,

And the feelings coagulate into fossil stones!

 

You go into deep sleep,

You hardly breathe

And your survival is a story of disbelief!

 

However,

When you start breathing again,

So happy you are to feel the sunrays

That you turn into a yellow blossom,

A fragrance permeates the being

And you glow like diamond!
