We present his awesome poem ~ ‘My Abode’ ~We extend our heartiest thanks to the learned author Captain Pravin Raghuvanshi Ji, who is very well conversant with Hindi, Sanskrit, English and Urdu languages for sharing this classic poem.

☆ ~ My Abode~? ☆

 Where there is dazzling dawn,

that’s where one’s abode should be…

Sometimes sit near a glowing flower

Listen to it when it spreads

its celestial fragrance,

It says a lot…

Sometimes by humming,

sometimes by smiling,

sometimes by sneaking,

sometimes by tickling…

Where there is dazzling dawn,

that’s where your abode should be…

You must have seen the small droplets

of dew  early  in  the  morning,

Their twinkling little eyes remain

awake the whole night…

There is a lot in their heart

but only this much is on their lips

Where there is dazzling dawn

that’s where my abode is…

Neither mud nor its slurry paste

Nor is there any gold to decorate

Wherever you find the love,

Build your home there only

The home of the heart is made by

the heart only, by touching the hearts,

By  meeting  everyone’s  hopes…

Wherever there is glowing dawn,

That is where my mythical abode is…

☆ ~‘Moksh’ —the Salvation…  ~? ☆

 In desire of living a

proverbiathel copious future,

The  mankind keeps on

losing his present life

Precious present moments

keep getting buried in

the oblivious past,

Mortal human-being

keeps on lugging

the burden of his ever

unquenchable longings…

 *

World of temporal concerns

is a never-complete yearning,

Beyond the desires

lies the realm of

complete contentment

Of fulfillment, of Salvation

—the divine ‘Moksha’..!

Inner is well…(reservoir)

Deep down the mystery

To enjoy the mastery

Upper is upper, dont doubt

Inner is real, dont doubt

Ignore upper, enjoy inner

“Well” is “well”, really “well”

 Believe this undoubtedly is “well”

Well is really well, undoubtedly

Upper is upper, not well

Inner is real, its really well

Doubt misery, enjoy mastery

Expect the unexpected blissful scenery

Unfold the mask, watch the world

Now its real and blissful world

Experience “you” the stardust from the universe

As upper is nothing, all the universe

Deep is well, upper is upper

Doubt the upper, enjoy the well

As well is well, well is well

☆ – “Sandalwood ☆ Shri Ashish Mulay

Like a precious sandalwood tree

Humanity is a beautiful tree

which takes ages to grow fully

and many more

for fragrance to fly loosely

like it we too have grown

from the rubbles of soil

and like a tiny sapling

we too have had our battling

like tree is not known by its foliage

for leaves fall when the fall comes

only to grow again and again

but known by its trunk and roots

for heights and depths they attain

no wonder the sandal remains

right between the trunk and the roots

and our beauty shines

below the hat and well above our boots

be the core of sandalwood tree

and become not the leaves

only to be bigger or smaller than one Another

live in the core of humanity

For You and Humanity will grow Together…

English Literature – Poetry ☆ विश्वास बादल तो नहीं…’ स्व डॉ राजकुमार तिवारी ‘सुमित्र’ – Faith isn’t cloud ☆ English Version by – Hemant Bawankar ☆

Hemant Bawankar

? ‘विश्वास बादल तो नहीं…’ स्व डॉ राजकुमार तिवारी ‘सुमित्र’ – Faith isn’t Cloud ☆ English Version by – Hemant Bawankar ??

(This poem has been cited from my book “Yield of the potentiality” an English Version of संभावना की फसल by Late Dr. Rajkumar Tiwari ‘Sumitra’.)

?

Faith is not a cloud

which gathers; thunders

and dissipates into water droplets

and loses its

very existence.

*

Faith is a sky

that can be seen

far away

from eyes

but, close to our heart

but, don’t surround

in the circle of

fraction of time.

But,

make it somewhat extraordinary,

So that

to whomsoever

you show it

He may exclaim

“Wow!

 What a wonderful offering”

*

Faith is nothing but sky

Which can be seen

From far away

but it is close to our heart.

But, don’t try to shackle it

By the moments of wheel of time.

Rather make it such a thing

That,

If shown to anyone

He is forced to say ‘Wow’

What a heavenly treat of celestial fragrances!

*

Then, keep the trust

Like your beloved

in your hearts

And keep sowing them

Without losing patience.

And

Nurture it with all your nutrients

of endearment

with water of your eyes.

So that it becomes a huge tree

Like that of a banyan tree.

Then enjoy its soothing shade

Sing a melodious song

Come one

Come all

And make this trust indomitable.

We present an English Version of Mrs. Latika Batra’s Hindi poetry “कैंसर हॉस्पिटल.  We extend our heartiest thanks to the learned author Captain Pravin Raghuvanshi Ji (who is very well conversant with Hindi, Sanskrit, English and Urdu languages) for this beautiful translation and his artwork.)

(Famous book of Mrs Latika Batra “पुकारा है ज़िंदगी को कई बारDear Cancer)

? Oncology Sanatorium ? Captain Pravin Raghuvanshi, NM ??

(Here’s the saga of Mrs Latika Batra… A real-life story based on her personal life-experience… She defeated the Cancer in her resolute battle against it… faced countless challenges… some owing to dreaded disease while other ones due to the human negligence… Ultimately, she emerged victorious…! Salute to her fighting spirit…!)

?

On the farthest end of the road,

adorned with the Gulmohar and

bright ochre-coloured flowering

palash trees, stands  a  haughty

gigantic  skyscraper,  on  a  lush

green sprawling landscaped  field,

known as the  “Cancer Hospital..!”

An  abominable world is laid out there

Where death manifests its remorseless

face,  routinely putting a full  stop to

countless,  –otherwise  happy  lives…

 *

On the entrance, there’s no threshold

at its  huge  glass automatic doors

A sea of humanity, -traumatized with

agonisingly crestfallen countenance,

fill  up  the  vast  entrance  hall,

wherein countless animated bodies

are imprisoned  there like hordes of

battle  weary  prisoners  of  war…

 *

Laden with unbearable weights of

worries,  hopelessness;  as  if  they

are carrying heavy sacks of loathful

abominable insects on their shoulders

 *

As if,  the outcome of all their tainted

deeds of past Karma are manifesting

in the excruciating pain and suffering

The shrouds of self-defeating faith,

an invisible placard of diffidence is

stuck around their necks, gnawing

away  the  last  ray  hope  of  life.

 *

All are ailing; yes, sick to their

inner core,  in  the  clutches  of

cancer, totally  indisposed  off,

in the realm of utter despair…

 *

Like a group of monks, wandering

around with their clean shaven heads

but  not  in  the  quest  of Nirvana,

Their  loathsum  state  defines the

precarious  condition  they  are  in…

Agony, despair, unbearable pain

Those who have experienced the

vastness of their sufferings are

accompanying  them,  with  the

hope against the hopes to return

to  some semblance  of  normalcy…

 *

But  some  defiant never-say-die

warriors, with their steely resolve

are also there, determined not to be

vanquished, till their last breath…

 *

Operating huge, strange and

monstrous machines, are those

operators, –the robotic humans,

wearing gleaming blue outfits,

Dispassionate, detached, but

hardworking  like  machines…

 *

Routinely engaged in their standard

procedures of binding unclothed, barely

fleshy, sick bodies in those machines, as

they keep probing and diagnosing diseases

 *

Carnality, debauchery, amorousness and

every perverted emotion is forbidden here —

Every door here reflects a signage to be

followed  as  gospel: “Entry Prohibited”

 *

Donning a white coat wearing a stethoscope

around the neck with nonchalant look in eyes

are supremely experienced skilled doctors

who are bound by oath to serve the humanity

They are not moved, disturbed, or shaken

They have endowed special abilities on

deciphering the pain sensation & symptoms

In their kingdom every patient is an ‘object’

 *

People  here, are  packed  to  the  brim but

apparently  no  one  is  connected  through

pain  or  sympathy  with  each  other, as the

adage  goes: “Sympathy  does  not  grow

out  of fungus-infested seeds of feelings!”

 *

Confused life cycles are seen somewhere,

sometimes, with all their strangeness.

 *

When a dreaming, self-obsessed nurse

wearing a pink coat is seen, with golden

bangles  reaching  up  to  her  elbows…

The unfazed  ‘will to live’  sweeps  away

the  dark  shadow  of  this  ‘hamlet  of

death’  right  beneath  her  feet.

 *

The rest of the instincts are playing their

roles scrupulously as everyone is fighting

with his agony, melting in excruciating pain.

 *

Every  face  present is  an eyewitness to  the

impending death, awaiting for the eternal rest

But,  still  holding their faith is a  pinch  of  life

in  the  providential hands of unending hope..!

 *

Yes,  this  is  the  cancer  hospital,  with  a

conundrum,  is  it  sanatorium  or  hospice?

The answer remains: it depends on the will to

fight  to stay alive or just surrender meekly..!
