☆ Chirmritak –the Eternally Dead ☆
– The day was very bad.
-Why?
– There was a death in the neighbourhood. Went there early in the morning. Later on, the whole day was a waste as no work could be done properly.
-How else could it be, since it is inauspicious to see the face of the deceased right in the morning.
Especially, the last sentence was said in such a way as if the person saying it, has been conferred with ‘Amarpatta’ –the robe of deathlessness.
Just ponder over this sentence as not making of a formula of Shubha-Ashubh, the auspicious and ominous. Just a point to consider: After all, who stares at you in the mirror every morning? Who else but yourself!… How many births have you taken to reach here. How long has been your journey of of births and rebirths… How did every life come to an end… by death only? Isn’t? And, how were you reborn from the death? You see the face of the ‘Chirmitrak’, the eternally dead everyday! Also, the other aspect of this cycle is that you see the face of the resurrected one who is dying daily. Between Chiramritak, the eternal dead
or Chirjanma, the eternally born, you have to decide, which one are you!!
Always remember that, not through seeing the faces physically, but it’s the internal soulful life and death from within, that makes and sustains the lives.
Jeejivisha, the Will to live and diligence infuse the life into breath.
Look at the life; and live the life…!
