☆ Realization…. ☆

Time, like wind,

Often uproots you and throws you

Akin to a muddied yellow leaf

On untrodden paths

Making you feel defenceless!

You realize

The futility of your existence,

You fathom out slowly

That you are a zilch,

You don’t even know

Where your future is going to take you!

In this state of utter helplessness,

One fine day,

The realization dawns

That though the trail

May be of a muddied yellow leaf,

But you are not actually one;

You have the power

To steer your life’s car

With full force and conviction

And take it to a desired destination

With efforts and sincerity!

You insert the key,

You blow the horn,

And then march ahead

Like an enlightened Buddha!

Happiness Activity: Meditation : Taking Care of your Body

Meditation is the ultimate activity for happiness, peace and well-being. The primary goal of meditation is to transform our experience of the world, but it has also been shown that meditation has beneficial effects on our health.

According to Matthieu Ricard, the happiest monk on earth, “Meditation is a practice that makes it possible to cultivate and develop certain basic positive human qualities in the same way as other forms of training make it possible to play a musical instrument or acquire any other skill.”

If we consider that the possible benefit of meditation is to have a new experience of the world each moment in our lives, then it doesn’t seem excessive to spend at least twenty minutes a day getting to know our mind better and training it towards this kind of purpose.

A Pathway to Authentic Happiness, Well-Being & A Fulfilling Life! We teach skills to lead a healthy, happy and meaningful life.

Her first book कुछ लम्हे  is a culmination of her interest. Her time management of family,  profession (Teaching in engineering science) and literature is exemplary. ☆ Weekly Column ☆ From Nidhi’s Pen  #10 ☆

☆ Chemistry teacher

Though I am a chemistry teacher,

but I never understand the chemical bond acting between the friendship.

Though I am a chemistry teacher,

but I never understand the mechanism of relationship.

Though I am a chemistry teacher,

but I never understand the fusion of thoughts that trigger anger.

Though I am a chemistry teacher,

but I never understand the catalyst that that makes people happy.

Though I am a chemistry teacher,

but I never understand magnetism that holds the bond of marriage.

Though I am a chemistry teacher,

but I never understand the physical and chemical reaction in human brains that brings war among human being.

Though I am a chemistry teacher,

but I never understand the enzymatic reaction why God implanted corona virus on human being

☆ Providence…. ☆

You are just a straw

Floating with the gush of wind,

Going wherever destiny takes you.

Your finiteness

In the vastness of infiniteness

Is just an illusion

Making you falsely fantasise your worth.

Your knowledge, wisdom or health

May only give you inner strength

To dree the inevitable,

Your faith, commitment and character

May make you prudent

To face the inexorable;

But your path still remains undefined,

You still remain weightless

In the entirety of the universe.

The flow of life,

Depends not upon the straw,

But the wind that carries it.

English Literature – Poetry ☆ Anonymous litterateur of Social Media# 8 ☆

☆ Anonymous Litterateur of Social Media # 8/

 Who says that

 Heart is in chest only

 My fingers also throb

 When I write to you…!

❃ ❃ ❃ ❃ ❃ ❃ ❃ ❃

If I keep staying at home like this

The aloofness is going to  kill me

O’ dear  let’s  just  go to the bar…

This dying heart will come alive!

❃ ❃ ❃ ❃ ❃ ❃ ❃ ❃

A tale of inconclusive love still

exists between us, even today…

Few of our footprints are still

Present on the sand of shores…

❃ ❃ ❃ ❃ ❃ ❃ ❃ ❃

Nobody ever dies in

someone’s  love…

In installments just the

Memories  keep killing you…

☆ Metamorphosis ☆

When the hard-hearted Westerlies blow

In the icy cold veins,

The blood vessels get choked,

The stony heart stops beating,

And the feelings coagulate into fossil stones!

You go into deep sleep,

You hardly breathe

And your survival is a story of disbelief!

However,

When you start breathing again,

So happy you are to feel the sunrays

That you turn into a yellow blossom,

A fragrance permeates the being

And you glow like diamond!

☆ Masks ☆

I often look at them in awe

And my heart admires the men and women

Who can remain happily

With a mask on their faces!

I’ve tried so many times

To put on these masks of pretense;

But have failed miserably

As it falls down so easily!

These masked people,

Strong and resilient,

Hold on to them

Even under the most precarious situations,

Are at ease even while stabbing

Their innocent preys

And enjoy the helplessness

On their victim’s face!

I admire them for their grit

At going against their conscious’s voice;

I wonder how they are so strong,

May God give them the courage

To face the ultimate truth

Of karma!

☆ Love  Lost ☆

(Dedicated to all those who suffer from ALZEIHMERS)

Oh Monu!

I heard someone calling an elderly man

By your name

And I was so annoyed!

Monu is ‘your’ name

Given to you by me so lovingly

And it shall remain so!

A gentleman came to me yesterday

And addressing me as “Sweetheart!”

Said,

“You are forgetting.

Monu has grown old!”

How silly was he!

How can I forget my only child?

This gentleman-

He troubles me a lot, Monu!

He makes me wear sweaters

When I feel warm

And want to wear skirts!

He says that I have never worn skirts!

So stupid! Isn’t he?

Oh, Monu!

Where are you?

Please, please come back

Into my arms

I want to kiss you, cuddle you!

Look that gentleman is again shouting

And wants me to prepare tea!

Can you imagine? Tea!

Have I ever made tea?

You explain him please

And let me sleep

For now!

☆ Love ☆

I take a stroll

In the buoyant garden nearby,

The fragrance makes me feel

Unsullied and fresh,

The hues around me

Give my heart a dazzling happiness,

I glance at the barrel cactus

Placed near the hedge,

It smiles in full bloom,

I grin back

At the flamboyant red of its flowers

Which look vivacious, vibrant…

Who can imagine

That a cactus will blossom

When one looks at its prickly thorns?

It’s the sun’s love

That gives it an intriguing glow

On its arid cheeks…

Life is certainly more

Than the panch tatvas;

While they make the body,

It’s love that makes life worth living!

☆ Loneliness ☆

Have your friends forsaken you?

Have your dear ones

Left you and are gone

Far far away

As overripe memories of yesterday?

Do your eyes trickle down

The pain through their tears?

Do the fond remembrances

Make your knees go weak?

Are you lonely

My dear friend?

You are in despairing desire

Of yourself;

Please go

And shake hands with you,

A hug might help too!
