☆ Love  ☆

“Don’t trust anyone”,

The mind says.

“Trust everyone”,

The heart says.

An emotional creature that you are,

You listen to the heart,

Till a slimy serpent coils around you,

Lethally strikes with its malevolent fangs,

Infusing venom into your thin blue veins.

You survive the deathly sting

Hoping that you have grown wiser with your silvery brow,

And yet somewhere in some lone capillary,

A fluid of love begins to flow…
