~ An expectation… ~
Shri B.G.Jain
(The inspiration of this poem is the backsight showing mirror on each and every two and four wheeler vehicle. It is the warning that the persons you have left behind, or gone back from you, are not too far, they may struck anytime.)
☆
I was in a very good service & was holding very respectable post
And use tone surrounded by people
Sometime I was guest,
Sometime I was host,
Though I keep very good health and capability
Attaining at the age of sixty
Retirement for me was nothing but penalty.
Now nobody turns to me
For their work or mine
Now when I am in need of ten
I have only nine.
I am being compelled to live a lonely life
Pension, tension and my company
Is only my wife
Though I have very good eyesight and vision
I wear glasses for a great reason
That I read on the glass of my scooter that
The objects in the mirror are closer than they appear.
