Satire ☆ The Cult of Fitness Culture… ☆ Dr. Suresh Kumar Mishra ‘Uratript’ ☆

Gyms have ceased to be places for physical exercise; they are now production studios for social media content. You cannot lift a dumbbell without accidentally walking into the frame of someone’s fitness vlog. People spend months researching neon-colored activewear that costs more than a decent business suit, all to sweat in it for twenty minutes. The atmosphere is thick with the scent of vanilla protein powder and collective insecurity. Gym mirrors are designed to make you look like a Greek god, but the moment you step outside into the harsh reality of sunlight, you deflate back to your normal self. The ultimate irony is that people will drive for thirty minutes, fight fiercely for a parking spot close to the entrance, just to walk on a stationary treadmill for an hour.
