☆ Satire ☆ The Agony of Group Chats… ☆ Dr. Suresh Kumar Mishra ‘Uratript’ ☆
Group chats are the digital equivalent of being trapped in a room with people you vaguely know, all talking at the same time. There is always the silent lurker who never contributes but reads every message like a spy. Then there is the overachiever who sends motivational quotes at five in the morning, making everyone else feel like garbage. The chat quickly devolves into a nightmare of endless planning for a dinner that will never happen because nobody can agree on a date or a restaurant. Leaving the group is a social death sentence, as the system brutally announces your departure to everyone. So, you remain trapped, muting the notification for one year, watching the unread message count rise into the thousands like a badge of social exhaustion.
