☆ Half  ☆

The frozen evening is buckling her thoughts,

Long emptiness covers the eyelids-

She is afraid to leave it open,

Lest it attack the world with a vengeance,

And if she closes it,

The void powerfully sucks her body,

Fragmenting her into pieces!

She leaves it half-open,

Doing everything partly is the fad of the era;

Words you wish to snarl

Lose their velocity as they glue to your lips,

You dare not let them be free for fear of reactions,

Nor do you let them remain within for the hurt they cause,

And they voicelessly stutter on the pink edges…

Following the trend has only been an easy option,

Only she doesn’t know what to do with the swollen heart

That has accumulated emotions all around!
