We present his awesome poem ~ O’ Dear Moon… ~We extend our heartiest thanks to the learned author Captain Pravin Raghuvanshi Ji, who is very well conversant with Hindi, Sanskrit, English and Urdu languages for sharing this classic poem.
O’ dear moon! Come back soon,
Of course, I am the sky
but then, I am too lonely…
These stars reside far away,
All these lovely panoramic scenes
live cannily in their own world,
You were the one whou would
perennially bathe me in moonlight,
With you gone, everyone leaves me
in the gloomy stark darkness only…
You’re te one who’d be my torch bearer,
You are always the light of my eyes,
You were my eyesight, the lighthouse,
You are the sphere of my daring courage,
What should I do with this black sky?
What could I do with the stark darkness,
Earlier evey if, you would go every day,
but then you would return the next day…
Always remember the path to my abode
O’ Moon! Do go if you must, but then
Make a promise to come back tomorrow,
Whole sky appears barren without you,
This house is not home without you,
As it falls lifeless without you in sight,
My world seems so deserted without you…!
